Our tour begins by leaving Madrid through the territory of La Mancha to reach the charming city of Córdoba, where we will visit the city including the interior of its famousMosque. Cathedral and the Jewish Quarter. Later, we will continue towards Seville. In the city of Seville, we will have dinner and stay tonight.
In the morning we will take a guided tour of the city, including its main sites of interest such as the María Luisa Park and the Plaza de España. We will contemplate the exterior of the Cathedral and the Giralda and walk through the narrow streets of the typical Barrio de Santa Cruz. Optionally, you can navigate the Guadalquivir River enjoying a beautiful panorama with the Torre del Oro and Expo 92. Visit the Maestranza bullring and at night, continue with a flamenco dance show. The rest of the afternoon will be free for you to do any personal activity.
After breakfast, we will proceed with the departure to the legendary city of Granada, to visit the spectacular monumental complex of The Alhambra and the Generalife, former residence of the kings Moors, declared a World Heritage Site. After touring the monument, we will have free time. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel in Granada.
The day will begin by taking the route via Guadix, Baza and Puerto Lumbreras towards the Mediterranean Coast to reach the monumental city of Valencia, full of incredible tourist sites, which you can discover on your own. Accommodation at the hotel.
You will have part of the morning free to make, for example, last-minute purchases. At mid-morning, we will leave for Catalonia to reach the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona. Upon arrival, you will have the rest of the day free to get to know it. Accommodation at the hotel.
We will have a close-up of the city with a spectacular panoramic visit. We will walk through its streets and see, among others, the Montjuic Park with its spectacular views, the Olympic Ring, the monument to Christopher Columbus and the Gothic Quarter. You will have the afternoon free so you can discover and do what you like most.
After breakfast, we will leave via Lérida towards the beautiful city of Zaragoza. We will have enough time to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Pilar, Patroness of Hispanic Heritage. We will continue towards the Basque Country to reach San Sebastián, where we will have dinner and stay.
We will continue our route towards Bilbao, capital of the province of Vizcaya. We will make a brief stop to admire the avant-garde building of the Guggenheim Museum. Later, we will continue to the coastal town of Santander, where you will have free time to admire all its charms.
This day will be a long journey, starting with a visit to Santillana del Mar, a city full of natural beauty considered a National Monument. We will continue the journey through beautiful landscapes to find in the heights the charming town of Covadonga, where we will have free time to visit its Sanctuary. We will continue towards the nostalgic community of Oviedo, to later have dinner and spend the night.
We will leave for Galician territory to reach the stately city of La Coruña. We will make a brief stop to enjoy a panoramic view of the city, the rest of the afternoon will be free for you to do activities of your choice. If you choose to continue in the company of our guides, we offer you an optional excursion through the Rías Altas, to immerse yourself in the traditions and customs in the typical towns of Pontedeume, Betanzos, among others.
After a well-deserved breakfast, we will continue on this wonderful trip leaving for Santiago de Compostela, where we will have a guided tour of the entire city. We will visit its important Pilgrimage Center, the Plaza del Obradoiro, the Cathedral, among others. The afternoon will be free to continue exploring on your own. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
We will begin the day heading towards the Rías Bajas, passing through the splendid and spectacular landscapes of the rias of Arosa and Pontevedra. We will make a short stop on the La Toja Island and optionally, in O Grove, we can enjoy a catamaran ride, with mussel and wine tasting. Later, we will continue to Vigo, where we will have free time. At this point, you can take the Optional excursion to Santa Tecla and Valença do Miño crossing the Portuguese border. Finally, we will arrive in Porto, in Portuguese lands, where we will stay for that night.
We begin this day with a panoramic visit of Oporto, a World Heritage city, where we will see the cathedral, the stock exchange, the church of Santa Clara and finally In luxury we will go to a local winery where we will taste their world-famous “Port wine”. The rest of the time will be free and, optionally, you can take a cruise along the Duero River. Accommodation in Porto.
We say goodbye to Porto and we will return to Madrid, stopping first in Salamanca, where we will make a brief stop with free time to see the old town and its famous Plaza Mayor. Later we will depart to Madrid, where our tour ends around 5:00-6:00 p.m. (time varies, subject to traffic conditions).
